(Photo by Jamie Sabau/Getty Images)You probably have a college football team that you love. You probably have a couple of college football teams that you hate. That’s, really, what makes the sport so awesome. The line between love and hate is a fine one and few sports better exemplify it than college football. What are the most “hated” college football teams of all-time?247Sports’ Brad Crawford named his top 10.A past Ohio State team is on the list.According to Crawford, the 2002 national champion Buckeyes are the sixth-most hated college football team ever. The whistle heard ‘round the world. Miami fans still want an explanation from Terry Porter on what exactly he saw when Hurricanes ballhawk Glenn Sharpe blanketed Buckeyes wideout Chris Gamble in the end zone, only to be whistled for defensive holding to extend the game in overtime. Ohio State would eventually win, beating top-ranked Miami, 31-24, to shock the defending national champions. The “Luckeyes” seemed to always have a flair for the dramatic during Jim Tressel’s only national championship season and benefited from several calls — including that big one — to be the last team standing. Freshman Maurice Clarett was Ohio State’s star, a trash-talking ballcarrier no one seemed to like in the Big Ten or nationally. He couldn’t stay out of trouble and was later dismissed by the university. That’s a fair spot. Few college football national title games have been scrutinized more than that one.You can view the full list here.last_img read more
