Fiji flight updates

first_imgFlooding and strong winds continue to impact travel to and from Fiji with Smart Traveller maintaining ‘reconsider your need to travel’ advice for the region’s Western Division of Viti Levu, including Nadi and the Coral Coast. The Pacific islands of Fiji were issued cyclone warnings yesterday and the Fijian government requested that all inbound flights remain passenger-free. The embargo was lifted later that afternoon and airlines, such as Air Pacific operated on reduced schedules.See below for updates on Air Pacific, Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand services into the region. The scheduled flight was replaced with a larger Boeing 777-300 aircraft, more than doubling the number of seats available in both directions.The new flight (NZ6802) will depart Auckland at 1:00pm. Passengers booked on the previously cancelled A320 services have been re-booked on the later flight.
